Name Buddhi Kunderan who did not have a quiet place to sleep the night before his debut. He slept on a mat outside the stadium and scored a century....

no not at all. the most deserving sports person india produced can be dhyanchand. sina nehwal, abhinav bidra michel farrera, geet sethi but not this man sachin. reason cricket is a game played only in few countries,it is a team game and even in this game he kept on playing like a hammal 200 but without winning much for india where as major dhyanchand won many matches single handedly for india. sachin is a big hype and a burden on indian sports.it is a true example of false vyakti pooja and clearly shows the gulam mentality of indian people

You might want to include Leander Paes, Milkha Singh, Yohanan, Jimmy George (World Class Volleyballer who died in a car accident. The Italians have a stadium named after him). Tendulkar is nowhere close to the above in sportsmanship.

Yeah, right! I thought you were saying Roger Federer, Usain Bolt etc. They sure are in Sachin's category. That category is reserved to all-time top-5 players of that sport. Leander? not even a single key tournament win and never broke top-10 in a year, let alone all-time. Dont get me wrong, he is a great athlete, and I enjoy watching him. But I dont understand how you can take a guy who never won a major and compare it to a guy that pretty much owns one out of every 3 all-time records in his sport.

OK
But one thing is sure that if he provides you a toilet cleaner job in house, you will find you on the top of the world and will grab it immediately.
