Just give other cricketers half the long continuous tenor and you may find a better cricketer in India.
Sachin, please score a triple ton during these 2 tests. It will be the iceing on the cake on your glittering career which a few people can think only in their dream. We all want you to say good bye to the game with the highest standards of your career.

Nowhere else in the world do they think of "brand value". Time to wake up and stop hero worshipping a good but ultimately finite human being.
Kapil Dev was a cricket player for this world still he is my favourite even today, Tendulkar is Master Blaster for rest of the world still I notice he is suffering from Push and Pull with cricket from many years. Kapil Dev make India World champion one day, Sachin become first famous as individual Indian to have so much record. mukesh

Sachin may hold the record(!!!) but Kapil Dev is the best player. Kapil Dev brought victory when India was on the brink of defeat.Sachin crumbled like cookie when faced with difficult situations.
Tendulkar should be appointed for a permanent job as drink supplier. This way he can go to the field and also give valuable tips and groom up next best tendulkar.

This country treats him as an icon for his cricket performance. By allowing himself to be used in politics or business, Sachin would certainly lose much of his hallow. But, perhaps, he may agree for a right price.
