I favor getting rid off Ishant from the team. But my opinion is not based only on the one bad over he has bowled. There is no excuse for what he did. Put Wasim Akram or Kapil or some of the legendary players in place of Ishant. They would have hardly gone for 10-11 runs at the max. Even bad bowlers don't give away more than 11 - 14 runs in an over. He just needed to stay calm and tried to evaluate every delivery and out think the batsman. Maybe its his hair or something, looks like bowled like a pretty dumb guy!!It is dangerous to have dumb people to play this game.
This guy has been playing for India for years now. No improvement at all. No application of mind nor is the any benefit of experience being applied to his bowling. Except for 1 or 2 pacers, all others are like him.
He was never up to the mark. He tries his best but comes up short most of the times. He has been given enough time and certainly he does not deserve a place in the One day team. It is injustice to other good players who can not get opportunity because of him being in the team. H should be out of the One day team.
