poor management
by veerapuram dharan on Oct 20, 2013 02:57 PM  | Hide replies

in these days of overdose of cricket, one needs to manage the players, especially the fast bowlers a lot. ishant was not that bad and no one would want to under perform. if one looks at the premium fast bowlers of other teams like dale steyn, morkel etc, they play all the test matches but skip unimportant ODIs and definitely not T20s because they have separate teams for ODIs and T20s. if ishant wanted to succeed, he himself should have asked for a break from such ODIs and T20s. probably he is the only bowler who plays all the three formats for us. dhoni must have realised by now whom to be given chance for the 2015 wc. he should have ideally tested youngsters like ishwar pandey and other rookie bowlers so that he would have got some idea about his bowling line up in WC. now that 3 matches are already over, dhoni must give chances to mishra, pandey, rasool and other youngsters in a consistent way. the batting line up looks settled but its the bowling lineup that needs a settled look.

he can take a cue from the aussies themselves whose premium fast bowlers like siddle, pattinson, ryan harris etc are all cooling their heels at home and only the fringes are playing here because they know how to manage their fast bowlers.

that's the difference between peeggoos and a momin..

I remember when Jadeja hit 40 run off Waqar in two overs, and waqar still played with grace and did marvelously even after that event...in 90% of the time after that in indo-pak match, jadeja was bunny of Waqar like he has bought the wicket of jadeja with those 40 runs..that's the story of great players with great fans...

now look at the peeggoos, who are crying like a baby just after one bad event...peeggoos have got no heart, they just cry for every thing and believe that they should win every where and every time and forget that they are not almighty...that's why australians thump them here in cricket and there in personal life...

Bought the wicket of Jadeja.. so you're implying that Waqar was into match fixing.
90% of the time after that.. did you just pull that out of a hat or decided to just bluff.
And regarding heart, it's better to have no heart than a heart filled with hatred and spite, which is the characteristic of people from a certain nation across the Western border of India.A nation that keeps sending terrorists to kill innocent people.

His short pitched deliveries at a time when the batsman was set cost India its victory. Both Vinay and Ishant are the culprits of poor bowling at the death. Ishant with his short pitched and Vinay with his full toss. Both played into the hands of the Ausies.

Yes, it happened to me in gully circket. I was thrashed many times, by my local mates. But I did not stop playing gully cricket. I still have a place in my local team. I always play all the matches. You know why? because there is no selection procedure !!!
