Remove Ishant Sharma from the Team
by l mrao on Oct 22, 2013 01:47 PM

Why BCCI bent upon selecting Ishant for One dayers. I belong to Delhi. Iam watching cricket for the last 40 years. He is one of worst bowlers I have ever seen. He is a fluke player. Dhoni may not like to bring back Zaheer but why not use young and talented Umesh Yadav and Varun Aron who have already proved their capability. Another player I would like to chose for sacking is Vinay Kumar. He should be asked to reduce his tummy first. BCCI should watch fitness and personalities of fast bowlers of other countries. It appears these two players were inducted in the Team with political pressure. This is not healthy practice. India very shamefully lost the previous one day match inspite of best performance by Dhoni.

non performance of bowlers.

Ishant have to be dropped immediately & even downgraded.replacement can be selected from the bench of new players. For spinners, harbhajan can be considered on rotation against Ashwin or Jadeja.Time for exit of Suresh Raina if he does not be consistent in making big scores.

He needs a big haircut
by Bali Mayur on Oct 21, 2013 01:45 PM

Wish the team management forced Ishant to cut his hair which has reached his chest now. Does this serve any purpose?

B'cos of his hair he does not seem to know where the batsmen is standing and does not even see where he is pitching the ball, as his hair covers his face fully after he completes his bowling action. Worst still, has he ever taken a return catch in the last 6 to 7 years, as to do this is impossible when he is blinded by his own hair in the follow thru.

Is he focussing on his bowling or competing with the girls in town with his hair length? Should not the team management enforce some discipline in these matters?

Ishant sharma worst bowler
by anand Swaminathan on Oct 21, 2013 01:06 PM

The only positive for Ishant that he is from Delhi. Hence he may get more chances than others. The problem with Ishant that he can be predictable. Why our selectors are not giving chances to Indian U/19 fast bowlers. We are losing the match with regular fast bowlers. Why can't we use India U/19 tam fast bowlers so that they can get an experience more importantly they can earn. Why we are spoon-feeding to regular bowlers

It could have been 3-0

The dollies dropped by Haddin in 2nd ODI when Shikhar was at the start could have made match turn against India. The sitter again dropped by Bailley when India was @260 of Dhoni allowed India to stay in contest

Nobody is blaming for his one match performance. He is consistently failure.. being a strike bowler and most experienced in the team, he is expected to live upto expectations.. else, he will become another Harbhajan..

There is surely some political influence of bowlers like Ishant. Coz India have many good fast bowler on bench.
