No more conflict of interest now
by krishna v on Oct 19, 2013 12:25 PM

There were accusations of conflict of interest against Kumble for leading a player management group Tenvic and also office bearer in KSCA. Now, with him opting out of KSCA and not re contesting, it is clear where his priorities would lie. No more work with KSCA any more, so he can focus on his business of sports management. Good decision.

Good job Anil/Srinath/Venky/Roger/Rahul. I wish you guys had contested elections again. Now who knows who might come to power? and what they might do with the KSCA finances? KSCA may not stay financially independent for the next 10 years as you have predicted, under some crooks who might get elected through money/political power. They might not continue your good work. Very sad that you are leaving the KSCA administration.

when they were out of administration, they said they wanted to cleanse the system n wanted crickters as heading the association. they didnt want non-cktrs as administrators.

but now they say, "Even without holding top positions, I and my group will share thoughts for the good of cricket." vow, so y they were not sharing it when they were just cktrs n not administrators.

One tries to learn the intricacies of the job in the first year, becomes an ace in the second, and monotony takes over in the third. It is time to quit after the third. You no longer is productive and it always pay to bring in fresh blood who bring new ideas in this advancing technological world. It is no longer a time to say that whatever was good for my grandfather is good for my grandson. Change is important. I applaud both Srinath and Kumble for their decision!

absolutely, now they can focus on their player management company. no more conflict of interest. especially for a charitable job like cricket administration. kumble can enjoy working with the ambanis for mumbai indians & his player management company.
