Either playing in Kolkata or Mumbai or any other venue - what makes difference. The bottom line is - India should win rather making the stadium look like a grand exhibition ground and the test ending in a stale draw. What happens if it rains all 5 days in Mumbai.
Considering his performance, should he be given a chance at ALL?????? Will BCCI give the same chance to others????? SO what if he is a legend???? BCCI should have shon to the world that to represent a country,it has to purely on consistency, form and merits!!!
How R.Ashwin still playing wiht his one year dismal performance????

his score in the two test if added together will not cross 10 and for kind information to every body if he scored some runs in his career , he did not do it free of cost to the nation , he was paid handsomly and he got the popularity which he do not deserve.TAKE MY WORD SACHIN DO NOT HAVE POTENTIAL TO PLAY THE INNING WHICH LAXMAN AND RAHUL PLAYED IN KOLKATTA AGAINS AUSTRALIA. RAHUL AND LAXMAN ARE TRUE LEGENDS
I feel Sachin should be requested to play in the entire series inclusing ODIs. Due to his sudden announcement, his fans like us didn't get the opportunity to give him a Stand Off he deserved. If anyone in BCCI listening...pls fulfill this wish of his millions of fans.

hat a waste of winter that would have been warmed by a contest in SA that legend is not interested in?Why should he ask for such a favour? I doubt f cricket iIndia will get any positive by playing against a lowly ranked test side except that ego of Srinivasan & sachin will be massaged.BCCI has made both bigger then the game unfortunately
not 2much 3much but 10much to carry such a hype unnecessarily; Poor guys with poor sports make real poor show and poor frenzy out of a poor fella in a poor state of career prolonged poorly ; so sorry !
It once again proves that BCCI is a bully that has only interest of individuals ahead of Cricket. How will Indian cricket benefit by playing a second rank W.Indies team to accommodate sachin? Is it so important for him to play 200 test match & that too the last one in Mumbai when by his own admission sometime back that he belongs to India & not Mumbai?I pity for fans who would have loved a full fledged battle against SA in their backyard then a dampener against West Indies
Good decision taken by Sachin Tendulkar of his retirement. A great cricket legend. But lately he is playing for statistics instead of country. Indian players should take the path of Australians like Rickey ponting etc., where their form is bad, they retired from international circuit. But Sachin form bad since so many years, yet he is more interested on statistics. Better late than early, a wise decision. He should more concentrate on charity work because country has given more wealth. Now it is time for him to give back to people of India through charity.

And both Rahul and VVS left without a fuss and BCCI never gave them a farewell match. That shows their discrimination for one man. Sachin may have scored 6 100s in Australia, but how many in winning causes - NIL. Rahul scored only 1 and another 93 and both have been match winning ones. That's the difference.

India WI is fixed as part of preplanning of Sachin's retirement at Wankhede Mumbai. Sachin is going to make preplanned 100 in that match.
