Don Bradman is incomparable
by Abstract baba on Oct 14, 2013 02:29 PM

Don cannot be compared with Sachin. During those old days there were no Helmets or modern guards to face raw pace. Simply saying that Don Bradman didnot face pressure as sachin had is a mis statement. Today we hae 1 bouncer law that wasnt there during the olden days. Dont just praise some one with an intent of getting attention. And i do not undermine sachins greatness at all, but those great players should never be compared to the players of the modern times.

A true fan....
by QandA QandA on Oct 12, 2013 08:14 PM

Understands that there are ups and downs in any Hero...

A true fan understands the difficulty of his hero by imagining himself herself in his Hero's position

A true fan has pure love for his Hero's heroism including his/her imperfections

A true fan can understand a Hero 'Cos he himself herself imagines to be a part of his/her Hero....

There is a difference in a fan who watch cricket sitting at home and has never ever went to real live game...

The difference between a true fan and an ordinary fan is an Ordinary fan has never heard the hitting of cricket ball by a batsman while the true fan has almost heard the breath Hero in a live match....

A absolute salute to a sole called a Sachin 10dulkar who gave us tremendous joy and heart stopping moments...

Heart or Mind?
by Gavin Rebello on Oct 12, 2013 06:05 PM  | Hide replies

I was a fan of Sachin during him prime and was an asset to the team. But off late when the scoring stopped, he became a liability to the team and I wanted him to call for retirement on his own rather than being dumped, after all the things he has earned. I am happy to see him go on his own and making space for the pool of talent waiting to fill up his place. I am sure this decision of his must have not come willingly from him but he must have had a tough time trying to figure out whom he should be listening to – HIS HEART OR MIND. This is a minds decision, not hearts. Anyways Best of Luck to him.

Though isi agents and vaaatican agents WILL NOT agree,Sachin Thendulakr is the Greatest Batsman world has seen so far!Shame croked westerners have a problem to Shout that Sachin is the Best Batsman Ever to play Cricket and that shows their racist mentality! Sachin is much greater than Bradman,Lara, Ponting or others for the simple Reason that Sachin had to Face all fiery pace bowlers of Other countries while Others had the added luxury and privilege of playing our lolly-pop bowlers&score as many runs that they wanted!Naturally Bradman had NOT had to face fiery Aussie Bowlers and Bastman Like Lara had NOT had to face west indian fast bowlers, etc, etc ALL jealous cricketers will have problem in admitting the above facts. All the same Test Cricket, ranji cricket, etc as a time-wasting game Lasting several days has Wrecked economy and economy of poor countries forevr and ONLY One day cricket must be allowed in our country to save our economy and fuiture and these onde day games MUST be played ONLY in week-ends or Holidays ONLY! Hope media and intellectulas do NOT coninue to sleep&agitate to Ban Test Cricket,Ranji Cricket without any more delay now!

Sachin Exposed

1.      With sachin in 90s India was only 5th best team in the world. There were no significant victories for india except in India where Anil Kumble’s heroics won the matches for India
2.      Until 90s commercial aspect of cricket was very low and just when sachin made his debut commercials increased and sachin benefited out of this immensely as he was made popular by the media and corporates for their benefit.
3.      Thanks to the Indian team of early and mid 80s, cricket became poplular in India and Sachin became the beneficiary of this .
4.      The other greats of India such as Dravid, Sehwag , youvraj and laxman who produced quality knocks to the Indian side arrived late in the scene by which time popularity was already stolen by this tendu who throughout 90s got knocks that ended in losing cause but did not deter his popularity.
5.      Steve Waugh famously quoted, Indians are happy if sachin gets a hundred and the team looses
6.      Sachin struggled against quality bowlers such as Mcgrath, Ambrose. Lucky, he never faced West Indian great fast bowlers
7.      Most of the knocks of his have come for his records at the cost of the team.
8. People of India do not have the analytical ability. Indians are not objective and this helps Sachin. We indians criticise Talibans. Look at sachin fans, they are every bit talibas who do not tolerate a different but a systematic view

There are two types of batsman, One Sachin and rest others. His class is undisputed and his character as well. Every player cant plya for 24 years and get 100 international centuries, that requires physical as well as mental skills. Cricket is team game and team wins when atleast 4-5 playes plays well. One Bowler or batsman can not win matches, thats misconception in peoples mind that sachin not won many matches for India, but he won lots of heart of people all over world, only non controversial great cricketer in world

Sachin Exposed

8.      Most of india’s victories were caused by players such as Sehwag, Laxman, Yuvraj , Bhajji and kumble
9.      Whenever Sachin was the best player in the match, the Indian team would lose.
10.      Over period of 24 years of cricket, his one and only good knock was that 98 against Pakistan.
11.      His run rate never reflected the team’s requirement and his knocks were agonizingly slower
12.      Miserably failed as a captain
13.      Sachin selfishly always took the best place in the team no. 4 in tests and opener’s place in the team despite the presence of better players in the team.
14.      His huge no. of runs are like dry leaves which do not have any weight.
15.      Begged his colleagues to win the world cup for him as he could not win one. Imagine a great player begging others to win a world cup for him.
16.      Got special treatment from BCCI and selectors throughout his career.
17.      Had wrong priorities in cricket. First his knocks even at the cost of the team and then team
18.      Miserably struggled against Mendis’ spin
19.      Sachin did not deserve a place in the team on merit atleast after 2007. However corporates who have huge investments on Sachin, made sure Sachin remained in the team for their investment recoverly. There are many more reasons but I stop here.
So the false popularity and falsehood of Sachin is exposed

You are fool, his strike rate is 88 in One day which is better than any batsman in world
He got 49 centuries in One day and 80% of times India won
Yes Sachin failed as captain because he expected everyone to perform like him which was his mistake, ageed he is not good captain
World cup semifinal against Pakistan he got MOM and he was one of the top scorer in world cup
BCCI become rich because of popularity of Sachin

His strike rate is 88 in onedayers but whenever he got big knocks , the opposition won those games as in those games the run rate at which he should have scored had to be higher. The whole world has seen your sachin over defending when nearing his hundreds at the cost of the team. I do not need your homily on this. As far as his 49 hundreds resulting in victories, you analyse each and every match, you will realise that match was won by bowlers or other batsmen. Do need example? he got 194 against pakistan a hundred yes. india did not win because of that hundred but sehwags senstional triple hundred. VB series was won by bowlers by restricting the opposition to medium total.so is it in all those matches. Sachin only took acolades which he is best at.
