Excellent Pujara

Cheteshwar Pujara is not talked about by the press in spite of good performances. He had two double hundreds against England and Australia, and yet there is no fanfare. The press reports the achievements of only the Master Blaster, who was useless during his first ten Tests, and in recent years has performed very badly. It was just the same with Indra Gandhi. Despite her poor qualification and performance level, the press talked about her greatness. Dr. Man Mohan Singh and Atal Bihari Vajpayee were far faster and capable, and yet they are presented as average leaders. Indra Gandhi ran the poorest economy in the world well below par. Tendulak has similarly won very few matches for India under tense situations. Pujara has better temperament to play well under pressure. Much ado is made about Tendulkar's retirement.
