Can any body tell me what was the contribution of sachin in both ipl tournament and champions trophy!appreciate who really deserve it,does dravid does not need good farewell as well,as he did so much to the indian cricket but no name, bechara dravid.
I am going to say this guy is more talented and has more shots than Tendulkar had at 17 years. Someone please back him like Raj Singh did for Sachin. This guy is the real deal, what pure hitting. Awesome to watch.

unfortunately that wont happen sameer.. reason being that boy is from kerala.. kerala and especially us keralites (including myself) are good at one thing.. and that is NOT supporting fellow mallus and appreciating their talents.. irrespective of what industry, the story is the same.. upcoming movie stars, sportsmen etc .. we will look for things and if we cant find anything we will cook up stories and eventually ensure that they are ridiculed in the community.. prime example is sreesanth.. yea, he may have sinned but if he was from tamil nadu or north india the govt would have proclaimed a hartal of sorts to protect a player from their state.. but because he is from kerala support is the last thing he will find.. i sincerely hope this boy sanju proves us wrong but as you know in indian cricket unless you have a godfather to back you up, no matter how much talent u have you dont have much hope..

They will give a chance to Sanju after 3/4 years when he is out of form and then drop him for non-perfromance. In India, politics is the only sports.
So this is a fitting farewell to Tendulkar. The World Cup win was also a fitting farewell to Tendulkar. We have had many fitting farewells to Tendulkar but Maamaji is not going anywhere !
