Are our selectors so dumb that for a tour of South Africa, they will prefer to open with "Sir" CSK Murali Vijay rather than Gambhir.....It is indeed a sad time for Indian cricket. No doubt the new brigade is doing well...but look how all challengers to CSK players in the Indian team have been cut to size...Harbhajan, Pathan, Yuvraj, Gambhir etc Till such time that fat fixer Srinivasan continues to head BCCI, such favouritism will mar Indian cricket.

u got it right...players like harbhajan (who was given many chances) ishant sharma (good for nothing) gambhir & sehwag (the have beens) the world beating team..
he shall not be in the team . my dear gambheer now you can dream about become capton of india . I think that MS DHONI and KOHLI will not give any chance to this useless politition.

Unfortunate that Dhoni gets credit. Gambhir is not politician my friends, Dhoni is.. Dhoni is a dictator who kills careers if he suspects any one can threaten his captiancy. Since Gambhir won IPL over him, Dhoni masterminded Gambhir's downfall. I see Gambhir as a simple man who trusted Dhoni and was let down big time. Unfortunately for Gambhir as long as Mr.Srinivasan is incharge of BCCI and also the owner of Chennai super kinds, There is no alternative to Dhoni..
In my View Gambhir should have never been dropped. From his scores you can see it is not a question of talent..Lot of players are confidence players... It is easy for any captain to demoralize a player and get his confidence low.. Every one knows Gambhir was THE main reason we won both championships. If Doni never mentions it to any one or ridicules Gambhir.. it will hurt his confidence.. I see Dhoni as most brutal dictator.. playing with the likes of ... Gambhir, Irfan, Zaheer, Shehwag, harbhajan, Laxman and even Dravid.

isn't he losing IPL.. once to gambhir and once to Rohit.. it is just a matter of time.. if Rohit starts doing really well.. Dhoni will mess with him too.. i have no doubt in my mind.

Also it was Shikkar who made 2013 happen.. wait for him to be around for 4 years and see him consistently perform..and then Dhoni will get to him too.. As long as they are not seniors and no threat to his captiancy, he is fine. You will see Dhoni in action only when some one tries to come into his path... Gambhir should have given captiancy in Test Cricket.. Thanks to Mr. Srinivasan, he protected Dhoni during that terrible test run..
This is South-Africa my friends, with out Gambhir you will expose a very weak side to the world in foreign condidtions..

Look at Gambhir's overall performance.. Just watch the T20 Championship final and WorldCup Final.. He is the top scorer in both matches.. he scored a 50 against australia too in the WC. It is easy to mess with high integrity/emotional folks brains... Gambhir is emotional and Dhoni is all business. Dhoni can easily messup Gambhir's confidence..
