There was time when one could say money cannot buy anything and people would say look at sports ! Can money make you run better ,play better, judge better. But not any more .While BCCI should be credited for monetising the nations craze for the game it is too arrogant.I still do not understand our refusal towards DRS .Fineit is notperfect but it can be a guard against bloomers and blatant errors.DRS balances out and is applicable to both the sides.Other cricketing nations may toe our line purely for commercial reasons but behind our back they must be cursing us.That includes South Africa where BCCI unilaterally curtailed the tour to accommodateSachin's 200th test against a club cricket side .Poor SA so dependent on BCCI's money power acquieced.
Height of arrogance and surprisingly I find the very little criticism by cricket fraternity.Former cricketers who were otherwise venting their ire for lesser reasons have been silenced by the huge opportunty loss of they take a contrarian stand. But what about others.Time to stand up guys

Any cricket administration news is incomplete without BCCI:

It's all due to arrogance and dominance of Anglo boards in the past has created rift in the ICC. If they had not behaved so in the past, could have easily stood against BCCI. On the other other hand BCCI is a banana democratic body which is driven by politicians and corporates to milk profits. Srini and his gang has no moral rights to continue but they will. Long live cricket and BCCI as long as ordinary fans are following them no change is expected.
