Like everybody else I'm also crazy for cricket and great fan of SRT. The way he played the game and gave millions smiles to people around the country and world is phenomenal. He deserves all love and praises. But, But my question is about awarding him Bharat Ratna. As so called Indian cricket team is not at all India eleven and it represents BCCI. So technically SRT has not represented India on grounds but only has represented BCCI. Remember rift between Govt. & BCCI in sending full fledged team to Asian or commonwealth games and Canada. BCCI prefered Canada Sahara Cup instead Nation representation of the country either of two world events. So technically awarding a Bharat Ratna to SRT is wrong.
Bharat Ratna to Sachin Tendulkar should have been given at least after 10/12 years on seeing his performance as to how he can contribute for further development of Indian Cricket. Moreso, his selection is politically motivated. Late Dhyan Chand should have been awarded the Bharat Ratna befoe Tendulkat, if the sports is at all considered for such highest civilian award of India. There are other sports personnel there for such Award viz., Viswanathan Anand, Avinaba Bindta..and so on. And from politics, Atal Behari Bajpai is also competent for having this Award. In India everything is possible.
The script was written by BCCI. Planning it since he was dropped from ODIs. Since it took careful planning & so much time , it had to be. BCCI had to organise the 2 test series in a hurry. Even then tendi could not score a hundered whereas other lesser known - even ashwin scored a ton.
Sachin deserve the bharat ratna award he is a good cricker as well as good person but he should support Modi to save India from corrupt polititians and frm terrorist.
