Is a much better bat than Sachin on any day. He negotiated some of the best fast bowlers with no protection. And lent so much batting stability that India can never lose easily in test matches. Has saved a lot of test matches for India. more importantly only after Gavaskar came to scene, India was not whitewashed in a series. But when tendu was at his peak India had suffered two insulting and disgusting white washes in 2011. Does any one care about these before tomtoming about tendul?

This is a universally known fact. Only some Chewtah try to dispel it. Dicky Bird dint even select Tendu in his all time eleven.
see the percentage of the no of tests he won...and then compare it with the percentages of players like dhoni gambhir ozha mishra pujara murali vijay and others...
similarly for odis he was a part of 234 wins but as many as 200 losses ...again compare how many win loss with players like dhoni gambhir yuvraj praveen kumar kohli and others...

Anyway Dhoni is not good for even Gully Cricket.Some of his shoots sucks you to death.
tendi part of wins but not a sole winner for india. India won kolkatta test aganst WIndies where the Bharat Ratna scored 10 runs & leaked 50 runs through his fielding. Yet he was part of winning team.

He was part of 72 wins? What has been his contribution? How many matches he had helped India winning matches that we were supposed to loose? I hardly remember 3/4 in his career of 24 years. Overall he played for personal records / milestones.
