Sachin, my favourite childhood cricketer
by M RM on Nov 17, 2013 02:26 PM

Even I was emotional while I was watching the Sachin's great farewell yesterday at Mumbai. I remembered his debut match in 1989 against pakistan. I was watching that match when I was a school boy and Sachin was hitting sixes at the moment. I was very fond of cricket at that time.

After so long years I watched Cricket for this man alone and yesterday, I was sharing my memories with my wife, about my childhood days and my admiration towards Sachin and Cricket game.

Best of Luck to Sachin and his family members.

Unlikely article in the US
by better thanyourx on Nov 14, 2013 01:58 PM

An article about Sachin in one of America's mainstream newspapers is really surprising given their understanding and love for cricket is as good as our understanding and love for baseball. The opinion that he is the most revered after the Mahatma is undeniably true.
I am sure the NRIs there must have read it with an ear to ear grin.
