Not sure why there is so much of hype around Sachin's retirement, in cricketing circles and media. Probably they are afraid that Sachin might decide to return if he isn't given a grand farewell :-)
Since Sachin said yes to congress promotion, he has been oversold and picked heavily by media. The old bat Sachin would have had embarrassing retirement which is well saved by congress promotion. But this trickery won't work either. Congress is doomed and become foreign puppet.
Sad abt cricket is now BCCI has got into the act !tons of money to be made i suppose. sach shuld ve retired 5 yrs ago . iwonder what WI Was oferd to play and get the out in half a day in TEST CRICKET that too!. the last time a team got out was in the 70's. india was all out for 40 odd, in less time than most people take for their ablutions .SACHIN the great ?? money today can fix things

Agree with you. Every one trying to make more money out of it. I wish BCCI will die one day. They do more harm than good.
I am fan of Sachin. I care about him. But I also care about India. Every one is making Sachin more than what is deserve. Almost 6 article about him. Guys this enough, we need to grow up and be sensible. We have lot more other things to do.
The way Sachin batted to day may prompt cricket lovers and authorities to ask him to reconsider his decision to retire. Who knows he may oblige! N.S.Krishna Murthy

Don't worry BCCI has given enough money to windies they will allow sachin to score double tomorrow and then a new bill will be passed in parliament to extent sachin's career so that Kenya, Guyana and uganda will come to india to play test matches

Many People will believe Sachin Scored a Century but I am not sure, the more or same number people wont believe,India won a World Cup in 2011 and Champions Trophy in England.

Krishnamurthy saab, I believe he has SOME izzat left in him unlike Afridi who has retired quite a few times but still blesses the stage.

With his scores from the last 2 years, he HAS proved that he is not a cricketer. And since he comes on TV quite so often, he IS an actor..
