he started his career for himself it was only playing so many years made him hero, he did whatsoever was for himself not for the country has he played any series or any year without contract money or match fees no and never. it is not his farewell hype it is bcci wants to create it and make sure that he retiers other wise he will keep playing, about his great innings it was never on class of lara and steve waugh, had he not played some good innings he would have got dropped as shewag of today.

nobody including lara and steve waugh have played without taking money. will you feed their families if they play without money?
and your last sentence, you gave the answer in your ranting. yes, he has played not only some, but many good innings.

Don't worry BCCI has given enough money to windies they will allow sachin to score double tomorrow and then a new bill will be passed in parliament to extent sachin's career so that Kenya, Guyana and uganda will come to india to play test matches

Not only with cricket, but also in all aspects of the life, don't think that only your individual tastes are right ones and are applicable to whole world. Come to cricket again. If any other player is your favourite, it doesn't mean Tendulkar is a bad player. Give respect to someone who contributed in a large numbers. If each and every generation people say theirs is number one, how can we accept it? Think broadly. When South Africa failed even to enter into super six level in the world cup in their own land, naturally, critics were done. But, the people in South Africa never used to burn their hero's photos. This is the sense. Moreover, what qualification you have? Go and make some runs on the pitch. Then talk about Tendulkar. I think this is enough for you.
India a Sports Orphan busy with twilighted star about to set, a game hardly played by anyone but colonial pockets celebrating english hangovers where guys pose till middle age or even beyond calling them men of sports which itself is a laughing stock for all sensible around the globe;

Unless you have achieved more than Sachin, you don't really have a right to criticize!. I am not a cricket fan at all, and like soccer, hockey and athletics way more. Sachin's contribution to the game of cricket is immeasurable. He was the best (or one of the best that you may believe) and showed to the world that India can be on the top if its people chooses to do so with heart. My salute to him.
