Too much importance is given to this ; He is a great player and he is retiring. thats it. why so much publicity ? praising him as G0D ? these all are unwanted...
It is said that during their school days KAMBLI was more talented and skilled than sachin but then with time sachin remained focused only on cricket(and cricket only) with his attitude towards the game and people(fans) in general being the same(he never got boastful of anything in life and remained the humble same person) but kambli had no discipline on the field which azhar had mentioned a lot of times that he had no discipline and never a good team player on the field).similar is the case with sreesanth(who also had on field and off field indicipline too).players like them are a liability for the team in general
LARA speaks from the heart for Sachin, for standing for so long at top for huge expectations and pressure. A person of substance, Sachin only, can do that.

i dont think sachin has done some big thing for the country. he played cricket and became no. 1 tax payer of nation. why u all forgotten that? any admirers got any financial benefits on his play. Besides, if he played 2 decades, 1 decade he spent for single as well as no-runs matches. so plz. stop this bulsht,,,

It indeed is a money making exercise when you talk big about Sachin. There are too many channels and newspapers/magazines who manage to get an article.
Coming back to Lara's remarks, Sachin might have had the best technique ever but since 2007 odd he has been playing only to make money. He has become more of a liability in this Indian team. Everyone knows that and the tingu remains in the team due to past glory.

Money? Dude he has enough money to feed at least 4 generations of his family. Have you forgotten his contribution in 2011 WC? He had the best year of his career in 2010. How is that a liability since 2007? He was there so that the transition is smooth. Now that new good players are coming up, he has left the stage.

Either you do not understand cricket or Sachin. Playing 24 years and keeping his status without any complaint itself is his identity.
You must watch his many innings and understand about him so that your all doubts will be cleared.

there is no doubt that Dravid is great player, but cannot compare with Sachin.
