Do not take me wrong. I am a great admirer of Sachin, but felt pain when the bowlers lined up to take Sachin's wicket during the past 2-3 years, be it IPL or test match (Sachin does not play 20-20 and ODI). Had he retired when India won the World Cup in 2011, his record and respect would have been even more formidable than what it is today. He has not achieved anything spectacular during the past 2-3 years. However, wishing him all the best that now he has finally and belatedly decided to retire.
