A Player who shine in an era with fine Cricket value is still playing with just the face value without delivering any matching winning output in the recent years. Don’t he have the self thinking to keep a way for the youngsters who were well in the age of his son. But at last he kept aside in a decent way by offered with Political platform to perform rest of the stunt.

The mohammad brothers, Hanif, Mushtaq and saeed in that order represented Pak in tests. They played only tests as no 50 and 20 over cricket was played those days. Mushtaq also played for Northampton shire in the English county. He was a legspinner and a dour batsman. He toured India under Fazal Mohammad during 1960 and gave a good account of himself.

I ahve not seen lately and there are many occasions when one can say that he did not perform in crunch situation but in the beginning he was a sensation and he was no nonsense. People normally compare performance with age. There are many perspectives and one being that an opener can go uto a certain limit only and it is true because an openers job is to give a good start and I think in the beginning he used to do that for a long long time. The last few years have been not great but it is good that he is retiring and paving way for juniors.

Tendulkar is given too much hype
by Surendra on Nov 01, 2013 02:23 PM  | Hide replies

Lot of young players have great potential and better than Tendulkar in terms of consistency. Tendulkar is good but not all time great. too much of hype, he had blessings from management to stay for so long.

Absolutely, well said. If he was not from Mumbai, he would have been kicked out long long time ago.

Sachin a king with Personal Records
by Selvaraj Saravanakumar on Nov 01, 2013 10:44 AM  | Hide replies

Sachin
A Player with stuff
A Player with style
A Player with thirst

All were nicely materialized to a certain period (only) for the credit of TEAM INDIA
& rest of his long career were carefully nurture and nourished to take care to yield hefty revenue to BCCI & his own pocket and his personal records without caring TEAM INDIA’s welfare and records.

tell me why he didn't want to continue batting @ 2nd down after 2003 world cup.. in the best interest of team, he ask to play in 2nd down but he didnt. i agree he is great player and good in opening, but not a team player..after 2011 world cup if declared retirement, i will also salute the master but he didn't ..continuous flop and also while declaring retirement, he didn't even conside teh selectors for name sake, he announced by saying mumbai match will be his last match. then what it implies is that selector must have asked him to retire gracefully before they removed..he is not going in his own terms..Also please don;t say whoever is against sachin are RD / DADA fan, i was a fan of sachin till 2011..after eng and Aus series (even home series against Aus / NZ) he struggled a lot. we need to accept the fact that , instead if we keep doing a favoing for one time hero..we will end up in doing like for our whole life.. the same mistake we are currently doing in india politics ..
