New rule for Batsman
by itakeabook on Nov 03, 2013 12:26 PM

Only One six allowed per batsman in an over. Umpire has to warn the batsman that his six quota in that over is over . If he hits second six, he will be disqualified to bat and he has to go and get the ball.
If the ball is lost, his match fees has to be fined.

The current matches between SA and Pakistan are they being played under different rules .The teams are finding it difficult to score 200 runs .Please do not get in to wrong - it is dud pitches with little or no assistance to bowlers which is making the series a circus nothing else

the scenario between the current sa and pak matches is truly very horrible...the series is dominated by the bowlers...nothing in it for the poor batsmen...these type of pitches are simply ruining the game of cricket...if this thing goes on who will want to be become a batsmen? everybody would want to be a bowler...the pitches should be such that there should be a fair contest between the ball and the bat which is not happening in sa and pak series...those pitches have ruined the game...

I concur with Madan. I think bowlers should be ably supported with little assistance from the pitches. People will also get to see how the batsmen fair on those wickets and overall we'll get to see a good contest between bat and ball.

Cricket = losing its sheen

Cricket has become more batsmen game. There has to be a balance between Bowling, Batting and Fielding. We don't see bowlers like Walsh, Ambrose, Akram, Waqar, Donald, Mcgrath, Lee, Danny Morrison, Srinath, Kapil and many more bowlers who is used to create thunders on the field. All because of marketing gimmicks of ICC and BCCI which gives undue advantage only to Batsmen to hit, hit and hit over the ropes for boundaries and Sixers by preparing batsmen friendly pitches and restricting the field. Free hit for a noball is a classic example where the batsmen is ruled not out on the free hit ball even if the bowler dismisses the batsman. All because of T20 cricket which has ruined the game and people are losing interest.
