It was not a fair decision from ICC to stop the CT tournament as it was totally different from WC.Comparatively short and consists of 8 major teams only CT is a much more enjoyable tournament. What went wrong with Champions Trophy was change of the structure from knockout to round robin.Atleast CT was a relief from the normal bi nation ODI series where in most of the cases final matches will be inconsequential as one of the teams already clinched the series.

Problem is no options: Sachin, Veeru are done, Gambhir busy with streetfighting with Kohli. Dhawan is injury-prone, Rahane is all hyped up for no reason. Vijay is fit for tests only, but there aren't too many options.
Spot fixing has nothing to with Indian cricket team. May be it is a concern for west indies cricket team as there were more of them in finals of IPL :)
Whosoever has filed this report it is surprising to read that " The only worry would be Virat Kohli as he has played well only in patches.". It is not correct. In fact he was in blistering form in the IPL and there should not be any doubt about his form. The spontaneous fashion he is stroking and his audacious shots are sure signs of his being in best form.Ther should not be any doubt about Kohli's form. For India the main worry should be bowling in death overs with 5 fielders inside as per new rules. Both Umesh Yadav and ishant Shrama have the tendency to stray on to the pads and that is going to be the big problem. Both the bowlers are yet to perfect that 'control' over their line and length. The bowling coach has to devote more time on these two BOWLERS on these aspects.
Re: CAN'T AGREE WITH THE REPORT.KOHLI IS IN BLISTERING FORM

Kohli hasn't performed outside of subcontinent and his failures in the last series in Eng (and vs Eng at home too) prove that he has lots to improve. Umesh, Dhavan etc have fitness issues, and spinners will be ineffective. Even if the effect of IPL scandal is ignored, still tough for India.
