Do not waste time
by venkatachalam govind on May 31, 2013 05:33 PM  | Hide replies

Cricket has become like horse racing. Do not waste money, time, electricity and sleep in watching cricket matches. Work hard, perform well and try to get the best rating with your employer/earn. Be with family on weekends and enjoy. Why should cricketers be paid at all to represent India. They get good accommodation, good food and VIP treatment then what else do they want to represent India. None of them have any pride representing India. Almost all of them get a job as well. No they should not be paid for representing India

If spot-fixing is investigated his Delhi Daredevils would be first on list of suspects. They threw away matches consistently and won unpredictably vs Mumbai, RCB. No wonder Jaitley is not attacking Srinivasan

exit team india - sorry
by veerapuram dharan on May 31, 2013 03:49 PM  | Hide replies

when we entered the 2009 T20 world cup in england as the reigning world champs, there was rampant disunity in the team courtesy sehwag-dhoni spat. dhoni had to parade the entire team into the press conference to convince that all was well. but the end result showed all was not well. again, its a familiar circumstances for the team, different problem but same mental tension and am afraid the end result would be the same. hope, it is not this time.

if india does not go for the knockout stage, it can be used as an excuse. but there is no chance that they will bother about something which was going on for the last 6 seasons (scams in IPL).

media is trying to give a sympathetic image to the cricketers for no reason.

when cricketers are controlled by franchisees and politicians, this is how they will also behave..
