On what grounds?
by Krish on May 31, 2013 06:28 AM

Not sure if people want Srini to resign as 1. a punishment- then it's too late and also involves Modi, Pawar's decision to mend rules 2. Correction - too late. Srini is done in a few months and more corrupt are around in BCCI. Plus why is the media diverting attention from the main focus of catching players from all teams who threw matches/ runs?

Moral Grounds?

There is no morality in love, war and Cricket(which is war nowadays between countries/teams)

Its all fixed ...
by Arv Singh on May 30, 2013 08:33 PM  | Hide replies

Srinivasan's exit is also fixed and he will resign soon. Everything in Indian Cricket has been fixed since Srinivasan took over:

1. Creation of CSK with Srini as owner and Indian Captain as the skipper.

2.Selection of CSK players in Indian team - Murali Vijay, Raina, Jadeja, Asswin, etc. despite their poor performance.

3. Spot fixing to demonstrate CSK players deserve to be in the team. For example, Asswin was a flop against England & Pakistan but managed to scrape in a few wickets in ODI series against Pak to maintain his place.

4. Dhoni not supporting players from other regions and favoring players from CSK and UP - He manipulated to not give ball to Harbhajan at the right time. from the right side, and favored Asswin.

5. Jadeja suddenly looking unplayable bowler in Indian side. Previously it was Asswin.

Dhoni and Srnivasan's role in spot fixing and match fixing needs to be probed by an independent body. Otherwise it will go like the investigation of Sajjan Kumar and Tytler when the evidence collected is manipulated and judges look for opportunity to favor.

Gurunath Meiyappan is a scapegoat and Indian Police is not able to get their hands on the big fish in this scam - Srinivasan, Shukla, and Dhoni.

Or for that matter did Sonia resign when her son in law was accused of financial malpractices relating to land deals? This is nothing but witch hunt and Ambanis and Pawar are behind this attempt. Sirinivasan has not done anything that these bloaks haven't done. More over his son in law's actions cannot be solved by ousting Mr. Srinivasan.

I agree with you that Srinivasan should not be blamed for the crimes of others even if its his own son-in-law. All I was asking was that Srinivasan's role in many controversial actions of BCCI and IPL should be investigated.

Mr. RS, Please clarify:-
1. On 24/5 Gurunath was arrested. All credentials of Gurunath including his profile was erased from the website of CSK & India Cements by the insistence of.....why?
2. On 26/5, NS in Kolkata Press Conference claimed that Gurunath was a honorary member of CSK only.....do you agree?
3. Should we disregard the e-mail of IPL6 Chairman Rajiv Shulka to Team Owners (Gurunath was addressed as CEO/Owner of CSK)for a workshop.
4. Should we disregard the findings of Mumbai Police after raid of Gurunath's house at Chennai that came out in Media reports?
5. Position of BCCI Chief is too high. Since Gurunath is the son-in-law of NS, it is his moral duty to step down till the investigation is completed freely without any internal pressure.....do you agree?
6. As a good human being, if NS has an iota of moral values he should step down.....do you agree?

For our discussion let us assume Gurunath owns CSK 100%. Has it been proved beyond reasonable doubts that his bets influenced the end result of any game? By betting he lost some and won some. Then, why should Mr. Srinivasan resign? I don't see any logic. Unless the investigation prove conclusively that Mr. Srinivasan has influenced the ultimate result of any IPL game, he should not resign.

Re: Re: Re: Stop

Let me talk about my queries 2, 3 & 4 above.
NS has reported the media in a press conference on 26.05.2013 at Kolkata that Gurunath is not the CEO/Owner of CSK but an honorary member only. Surprisingly, e-mail of IPL6 Chairman Rajiv Shulka to all the 9 Team Owners (Gurunath was addressed as CEO/Owner of CSK) for a workshop did not corroborate the claim of NS. Further, findings of Mumbai Police after raid of Gurunath's house at Chennai (that came out in Media reports) did not corroborate the claim of NS.
Now, do you think such a spurious statement by NS is nothing but suppression of facts/misleading fabricated information which may divert the whole issue and justice may be denied?
