DONT TALK RUBBISH
by KUCKOO on May 30, 2013 05:17 PM

IF ANY ACT IS COMMITTED BY ANY ONE'S RELATIVE THE INDIVIDUAL NEED NOT BE PUNISHED. ONLY WHO HAS DONE WRONG WILL BE PUNISHED. THIS IS FUNDAMENTAL ARNAV GOSWAMI AND SOME OTHER JOURNALISTS TALKING RUBBISH BY SAYING SIRINI SHOULD RESIGN BUT WHAT FOR. HE SHOULD FIGHT AS HE HAS DONE NO WRONG AND TEACH THESE JOURNALISTS A LESSON.

Lal Bahadur did not crash the train.
by chanakya maurya on May 30, 2013 05:09 PM  | Hide replies

However he took upon himself the moral responsibility and resigned from rail bhavan.

NS should, if any moral obligations are left with him, should honorably step down rather than opting to be pulled down dishonorably.

It is his choice.

The most incredible thing that is puzzling is how a man of his stature cannot interpret the signals well and act in the best interests of the game rather than in the best interests of himself.

Nothing would be left except money if the honor is lost.

No one remembers even the name of Lalit.

Wrong example. Mr. Sastri resigned because the accident did happen. In this case the allegation of betting unless it is proved beyond reasonable doubt that it influenced the results of IPL games, Mr. Gurnath Meyappan can be charged only for betting. I assume betting is illegal.(There are thousands of bookies for betting in India is a different story.)But how the charges on Mr. Meyappan relates to Mr. Srinivasan and asking for his resignation.

Mr. Goswami is only bringing shame to journalism becoz of arrogance, aggressiveness, supression of freedom to speak/defend/explanation of any accusation.. If he perceives it is wrong..no matter how far truth exists..everybody should say yes to him...Mr. Goswami...Public of India is watching you very closely..Dictators always have to answer today or tomorrow to the nation or its people in a very pathetic condition..u r also no exception...
Time is still there...make the correction...let honest Journalism (not ur yellow) prevails for the good of the country....

Mr. Goswami, Why should you expect everybody should toe your line. Let everybody have their way to express their views. You can't bulldoze people to bow to your wishes. Ask the Bengal C A President come out express his views alongwith Saurav Ganguly ( Can you read between the lines)Maurya Mazumdar hob knobs with Sachin and his likes, but will never ask him come out.Mr. Srinivasan is legally elected President. Let the working committee to decide his fate.

Another arrogant TV anchor is Karan Thapar.Modi and Ram Jethmalani once terminated the interview and walked out once he started his usual tactics. An interview should be pleasure to watch where we can learn something. On most Indian TV channels it is nothing but a fight and disgusting.People would rather watch Animal Kingdom.

On moral grounds...does media has any right to say on morality...all news channel shows everything..to fill space...Be moral with your own work Mr. AG and as a self...then be neutral and talk.

Though i dont agree with Srinivasan's policy, it is unfair to show him the door even before any enquiry starts. If morality could be a reason for somebody in the top management to resign, Sonia or MMS or Jaitley or any other top-politician would have resigned atleast 20 or 30 times in the last year.

While I feel that Srini should have honorably stepped aside for the time being,I agree with the comments on the TV anchors in India. These TV anchors scream, shout, interupt, abuse, cutyou off, divert the subject, etc without allowing the party to explain or answer the question. These guys should learn how the TV anchors on BBC/CNN conduct the interviews. The best TV anchors are the ladies like Sonia Singh,Nidhi Rajadhan,Bharkha Dutt,Suhasini Hyder,Anubha Bhosle, etc.

Mr. PA, Please clarify:-
1. On 24/5 Gurunath was arrested. All credentials of Gurunath including his profile was erased from the website of CSK & India Cements by the insistence of.....why?
2. On 26/5, NS in Kolkata Press Conference claimed that Gurunath was a honorary member of CSK only.....do you agree?
3. Should we disregard the e-mail of IPL6 Chairman Rajiv Shulka to Team Owners (Gurunath was addressed as CEO/Owner of CSK)for a workshop.
4. Should we disregard the findings of Mumbai Police after raid of Gurunath's house at Chennai that came out in Media reports?
5. Position of BCCI Chief is too high. Since Gurunath is the son-in-law of NS, it is his moral duty to step down till the investigation is completed freely without any internal pressure.....do you agree?
6. As a good human being, if NS has an iota of moral values he should step down.....do you agree?

Good Day.
Of course yes Mr. Dey.
1. All credentials...were erased...i feel it is to be proved.
2.Ofcourse...i believe that he has not signed any Papers pertaining to IPL as an owner. Rather CEO of India cements had signed. How can he be the owner?
3.Rajeev shukla - should resign for all irregularities in IPL today, as he is the chairman. His mail..addressing to GM...may be wrong on his side.
4.Dont disregard any evidences..but wait till proved guilty.
5.for our misdoings our parents cannot be punished and vice versa.
6.No way..in PROFESSIONAL SET UP..NO MORAL grounds.

In these IPL debacles, people have always been going harsh on soft targets. I Understand owing moral responsibility Mr. Srinivasan should quit, but people raise so much hue and cry opposing a person who has primarily done no wrong, why don't they raise their voice against the corruption by UPA, that comes out on a fortnightly basis and demand a resignation of PM???
And why criticise Dhoni so much about his silence in press conference. Why don't u question Sachin Tendulakar, who is an embodiment of Indian cricket itself and a member of Parliament besides, who is capable of taking a political stand on IPL corruption??

In which world are you living in? What was disruption of Parliament all about? Srinivasan is more shameless than MMS.Is there no accountability in IPL/BCCI? Both Shukla and Srini should go.Forget about Cricketers both current and former. All of them are acting like paid servants of Srinivasan because of the money BCCI pays.Srini is not paying everyone from his pocket. It is the money of the cricket loving public. This lethargic attitude is the reason we have all these problems and everyone escapes responsibility and accountability.

Did he do any betting?
Did he encourage anyone to do betting??
Has he gone out of the way to share the bet money???
Did he sponsor anyone to get the betting money?

There are more serious crimes and the only word was' let the court decide' the final verdict has not come etc., etc. Now even before any shadow of doubt is on him personally, scores of wannabes want him out.

One thing for sure " BCCI will not be as it is today, if NS goes out". The situation will worse without his money and admin control This anyone can bet.

What are you talking about? What money has Srinivasan brought into BCCI? It was already the richest cricket body before Srini took over.Cricket is a money making machine in India. Due to this contraversy he has already caused the shareholders of his company India Cements heavy loss due to the share price going down. The quicker he goes the better for him and his companies/employees.
