Fully agree. Times has become a paid channel. Paid by the ruling party and its politicians for propaganda. Look at the way the Chattisgarh maoist attack is shown as these corrupt congress leaders have become martyrs overnight. Shame on this paper and its tv channel, which has become an UPA propaganda machinery.

why only cricket ???
by Sudhir Patil on May 29, 2013 07:56 PM

India gained independence in 1947. The Constitution says equal rights for every citizen.
ut women are still deprived of their rights ... their own fathers and brothers deny them property rights ... the law on paper gave equal rights to women in 2005 ... but how many women do actually get them ...
do the people mention in their income tax returns whether they gave their sisters/mothers/widows/etc the correct share they desrve ???

so many problems ... but only cricket is more important ...

Honesty from Power's Graveyard!
by murali balak on May 29, 2013 07:47 PM

See who are all started talking about Honesty blah blah. This person could have stopped most of the crimes in Maharashtra if he was serious during his rule (as CM). Becoz of his links with the notorios underworld king, he let things go to the extent of bombing in Mumbai / extortions / killings (and what not). During his tenure as BCCI / ICC president, so many bad things happened in cricket but becoz of his political connection and Dadagiri he made others mouth shut. Now, he is shouting about Honesty / Integrity etc. Just BCCI can request this powerful man to use his 'connections' and plead with the Gang to surrender on their own (or atleast give promise that hereafter they wont do betting / fixing). We can hear this guy's honesty from his Graveyard after burial also.
