Cricket frenzy is going to be gone soon
by Sachin Chander on May 28, 2013 11:30 PM

People are watching. BCCI thinks they can keep doing anything. Cricket fans will suddenly switch gears and get on with their lives instead of wasting time on something they know is fixed or run for people like Srinivas, Jaitley and Shukla. These guys will ultimately end up killing the cow that feeds them. So, they can keep doing what they want until some more time.

Scindia an opportunist
by Deshbhakth Hindu on May 28, 2013 11:27 PM  | Hide replies

Why after a week this Scindia has woken up from deep slumber ? Is it because his photo along with other BCCI members came on front page of TOI ?

Govt. has no control over BCCI, but on media, social network, peaceful agitation. SG & SC has to search, how they can BAN BCCI to save CKT (where a religion it is even compare to our National Game : Hockey). What TN Societies is doing, where this BCCI is registered??? I am surprised to know, till now No-one filed an application PIL to bring BCCI under RTI act & audit by CAG (where Prasant Bhusan is always ahead in terms of public damages).

Kirti is a shrewd fellow.. trying to extract benefit for himself
by CrystalClear on May 28, 2013 07:51 PM

His grudge against people at helm be it government or cricket is coming out now it seems, he clashed with Nitish Kumar for some power post (he is new MP from Bihar), and now with cricket fraternity for benefits. This is right time for him to arm twist others... and extract honey for himself...

Kirti is right
by kumar kn on May 28, 2013 05:00 PM  | Hide replies

Kirti is one cricketer who over a long period has been calling a spade a spade. He has also criticised Shukla and Jetley who are his fellow MPs.Both of them are keeping quite and acting as paid agents of Srini just as former cricket commentators.Srini is just the present BCCI President. All these gentlemen should be loyal to the Board and Cricket and not to an individual. What prevents the future Board Presidents also to own some team when Srini has shown the way.The BCCI is one cosy club with the motto-"you scratch my back and I scratch your back" and cricket be damned.

There is competition between MPs and in between erstwhile cricketers for lucrative & powerful post. Kirti being unable to make up to that, will takeout grudge now. Well even Siddhu is also MP & ex-cricketer. Gavaskar, Kapil & Siddhu are also ex-cricketers look at them & their behavior. Action speak more than words.
