Lara better than Sachin
by Amit Nadkarni on Jul 19, 2013 05:53 PM

I feel both are great and it is difficult to judge the two. However Lara in form was a much devastating batsman who used to tear bowlers apart. Tendulkar on the other hand would have played under more pressure than Lara considering the Indian fans and their huge expectations. Why do we need to make comparisons? I feel both are great in their own right

Only Indian to earn Orange Cap
by Rajkumar KVM on May 27, 2013 02:17 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin Ji is the only Indian to achieve Orange Cap... Hope Sachin bashers know what Orange Cap means...There are around 70 Indian youngsters in IPL, 15 Indian seniors in IPL...They did not achieve Orange Cap just because Sachin ji was playing IPL...They did not get it because they did not get highest number of Runs...as simple as it...If Sachin is blocking a place of a youngster, how come 70 youngster play in IPL / Indian team...I think Sachin bashers feel that Sachin Ji is blocking one youngsters place in the Team who is an INVISIBLE TALENTED PLAYER...I generally dont react to Sachin bashers' postings beacuse I know that they are suffering from some Psychological problems...At times, We have to play Doctor's role to keep them shut / recovered...A Sachin ji's fan since 1989...

Death of cricket
by Jugal Ahuja on May 27, 2013 01:58 PM

Sachin presently is still playing test cricket, the day he decides(BCCI does not have the guts to drop him) to retire from that form of cricket, then at least in India it could mean the death of cricket.

I understand your feelings. Most of us are awaiting for young cricketers who can score runs quickly and hit more boundaries without much patience. But don't forget that it is sachin who has shown how to play in matches when you come as opener. He was the one who redefined the way of play during the first 15 overs of the game. He was the same cricketer in 90's and early years of 21st century, that you are expecting now, how many of them can play like dravid, ganguly and tendulkar? with class and style in there knocks. Have some respect to seniors, for there service to cricket. It is better not to use words like "nuisance"

Gentleman Sachin declare his retirement from IPL... Sachin we will really miss u. I dont understand why Dhoni is not declaring his retirement, as he always prefer only young players. He ignored / insulted Senior and great players, and its pressurise them to take retirement. Now as Dhoni is not young, why dont he declare his retirement. I want Dhoni to keep his word / acts.

Man Of the Match
by Jeet Adhikary on May 27, 2013 01:20 PM  | Hide replies

According to me in yesterday's IPL Final Man Of the Match was Sachin Tendulkar by not playing in the 1st 11. If he would have played then once again Dhoni & co would have taken away the series.....
Thanks to Mr. Tendly

In 1989 i first heard of a name called Sachin ( i am born in 1980 ) , fascinated by straight drive ( had no idea it is called staright drive at that time :-) ) started playing cricket , tried to copy you , at age 13 realized how technically good you. As every other indian would swtich off TV as soon as you would get out .At 1996 world cup in the semis chasing 252, when the usual collapse happened ( after you played innings of 65 on difficult pitch ) i skipped my meal.
When you were hitting top class bowlers ( vaas, wasim, warne, donald, magra.., ...) it felt like India is shining.
My mind was telling me that you should retire , Multiple reasons , some haters \"targeting\" you online( not critise but targeting ) , current \"dirt\" in Cricketing word....BUT when you took that decision feeling really sad about it.
