Rohit sharma will fail in international matches consistently
by Happy Friday on May 29, 2013 06:51 AM

And then dropped from indian team and again he will play in flat pitches, comeback to indian team and then thrown away! its really waste of time for selectors.

MI captain-Rohit Sharma
by subhash phadkar on May 28, 2013 08:44 AM

The contribution of Rohit Sharma as the captain of Mumbai Indians in winning the IPL championship for the first time in six years is very significant. He was learning the trade very fast as he led the MI team admirably.Anil Kumble as the Mentor also played a major role in organising the best combination for the playing eleven in winning the championship.

Mumbai Police and Media are responsible for winning the match, not the team.
There are many ways to win the game. This is the first time ,policeis used to win the game.
Mumbaikars knew very well, betting is common in many things which affects poor in Mumbai. Police is part and parcel of it.Timing&speed of police action is creating lots of doubts.

MI/SACHIN GET THEIR REWARD AT LAST !
by damodaran mohan on May 27, 2013 07:30 PM  | Hide replies

So MI manage to win IPL trophy at last ! Sachin too happy he got his parting gift ! Nita Ambani passionately slugging it out with the players for the last six yrs also the happiest person ! Actually if CSK had won, it could create unnecessary complications should the team face ban post investigations. Scores of Hussey-1,Raina-0,Badri-0,Jadeja-0....Dhoni coming at no7. were enough indication of CSK’s feeble intent. The IPL brand ,India’s only world class sports brand and a money spinner has made the BCCI president NS one of the most powerful sports administrator in the world. On the top of it NS creates the super brand CSK, a simply unbeatable and one of the best T20 side in the world that further added to his power. Obviously IPL and brand CSK became envy of one and all. Given his autocratic style of functioning to the point of bending rules and mostly not bothering about the means to achieve his ends NS had become too big a person for his senior colleagues like Sharad Pawar to digest. Recent Peter May incident only further aggravated his enmity world over. No wonder his rivals decided to cut him to size. Now his position as BCCI chief looks untenable despite his brazening it out! The ‘vested interest’ seem to have struck in well planned fashion at the weakest link in NS’s chain ----‘Gurunath’, a compulsive gambler(?).The saga of the beginning of Gurunath--Bollywood Vindoo friendship should be interesting! Who were beh

Toss decided the favourites
by Jomesh George on May 27, 2013 05:32 PM  | Hide replies

Except in their match against Kings XI at Mohali where they won by 10 wickets CSK messed up with their chase in almost every match but were really lucky to have the best finisher in limited overs cricket in their side along with some handy lower order batsmen.Their first outing at Eaden Gardens vs KKR was also pathetic somehow chased dowm a modest target with some slogging from Jadeja. But they were really superb while batting first putting big scores against best bowlings like SRH,KKR and MI (1st playoff).MI's case was not different. So both teams wanted to bat first but toss favoured MI and 148 was a good total considering condition of the pitch, quality of MI bowling and pressure in a big match.

Clear FIXING
by Perundurai Kannan on May 27, 2013 05:24 PM

This match is clearly a fixing one, undoubtedly. Score target of 149 is not a difficult task for Dhoni & Co. CSK did not want to be in controversy by winning the match, hence given away MI to win.

cos Chennai batsmen are arrogant and overconfident that's why they lost. If they perform in 3 or 4 matches it dosen't mean that they are great. They totally dependent on Hussey good start. Reality of India without Tendulkar. All so called Sir Jadeda and Kohli will only perform in some matches. Indian team will be tested in England during the world cup. Bouncy pitches. Wait and watch Tendulkar haters and Dhoni lovers. I hate Dhoni and Kohli.
