Amazed to see chennai win fair play award. I am from chennai but i still did not understand how chennai can be awarded after the incidents that have taken place...No doubt it is off the field events but still when meiyappan have passed on crucial information on the team to the fixers i feel chennai should not have been given the award.....

do you know the meaning of fair play if not please go and watch all the ipl maths re telast- by performance and fairplay CSK is NO-1 team of IPL not any other team
Things went in favour of MI. 1.Toss and decision to bat first 2.The venue of Eaden Gardens where MI holding a good record 3.Loss of 4 quick wickets which became a blessing in disguise as Pollard came early to bat 4.Dhoni's decision to promote Bravo and Jadeja. He should have promoted a test class Aswin to steady the ship.

Last but not least Mukeshabmbani got it arranged... after losing patience with the players to win it.
Too many questions.... How could the story of the film called IPL be changed at the last moment? Does Harbhajan bowl better than Asswin looking at his consistency this season? When a not-so-good batting line up can smash 175 vs Mumbai, how could the arguably best batting line up fold up like a newspaper? Why dint the jharkhanditribal come up the order this time like the world cup final?
Looking at the Orange/Purple caps or MVP/maximum sixes column, it is disgusting to see Indian cricketers occupying the third position on their home soil. Harbhajan was the only Indian player in the top 10 list of MVPs. Its also saddening to see that the top 3 bowlers who have conceeded the maximum runs belong to India (Dinda being in the Top-10 twice).
End of the day, only 1 aspect is certain. Whatever "young", "fresh", "talented" players a team has, a foreign players is more valuable in a victory than an Indian player.
