Bookies have already started betting on Gurunath/Srini being let off by the committee consisting of Shastry and Gavaskar giving tips to Gurunath as to what to say.
....that not one past cricketer has condemned the BCCI chief and demanded he vacate the position during the ongoing investigations.
This is understandable, though highly distasteful, as their bread and butter (not to mention their benefit matches etc) depends on the pleasure of the BCCI.
Gavaskar and Kiti Azad, on a news channel yesterday were playing toady to Srinivasan. It was disgusting, to say the least. They expect the investigations to be fair? Ridiculous!
he he he he,by the time Indian cricket fans read the stories of IPL and scams, Champions Trophy will be over and get knocked out by the fiery pace attack of SA & Pak.

SA is Ok, but Pak?? They will definitely concede a match even to lowly ranked Canada, provided they get more than that Champions trophy tournament offers ! That's Pak cricket.!!

People had respect for Gavaskar. After listening to his unconvincing reply he has gone down in their esteem. Why should he lose his respect in defending Srini who will go today or tomorrow? Gavaskar and Shastry are two highly paid commentators who owe their income to Srini and are selling their conscience for a few pennies.I pity them. Compared to the work we do as ordinary folks, these cricketers both current and former get remunerations far in excess of what they deserve and what other countries pay.Instead of standing up as a role model for cricket these cricketers, politicians in BCCI,administratore in various state boards, etc have all sold themselves to money.Shame on them.
