a lot of people are calling for legalizing betting so that malpractices could be checked and problems like spot fixing could be eliminated.Well that could have been a good proposition for other nations but for India it would not be ideal.Simply bcoz of vested interests outside India particulaly the underworld mafia operating in Dubai and Malaysia which is supported well by some of our own countrymen who are quite happy to cheat their motherland in return for quick bucks.
Consider a situation similar to this if faced by a USA or Australia then legalizing betting would be good as they could track the money inflow and outflow and their citizens involved would be happy to screw other nations while maintaining their nations interest . But for us betting fixing would lead to money laundering arms smuggling drugs smuggling et al
Only those politicians have raised their voices who are not associated with any sports body or federation. Why Jaitley/Malhotra/Abdullah/Praful Patel, & even the most honest of them all---NaMo?Where are they in Switzerland enjoying foreign trip @ tax payers account.
to save them, mayappan has been disowned by india cements. to save his skin crook srini wud say, -mayappan is not married to my daughter. -mayappan's wife is not his daughter.
Dear Mr. Srinivasan dont resign this IPL lafda will soon come to an end just like coalgate, some money bags will transfer here and there and Indian continue with IPL, and Mr. Modi you please shut your mouth
Why so much hulla bulla about IPL as though it is a matter of life and death (so much media coverage etc)As per BCCI it is a pvt Orgn, anwerable to none (forget about the vast amount of public money that they play around with). As such IPL should be treated just as a club cricker Tournament and nothing else as national pride is not isvolved. The Govt should immediately scrap IPL and let the Law takes its course and award deterrant punishment to the guilty whoever it may be. Let us not lose the plot looking at technicalities such as resignation of a small fry like Srini.
First CKS disowned Mr. Meiyappan to save their skin in future IPL fixtures. Now Mr. Cheenu can also follow the suit and disown his son-in-law by telling the public that his daughter elpoed with Mr. Meiyappan

true. to save his skin crook srini wud say, -mayappan is not married to my daughter. -mayappan's wife is not his daughter.
you no need to resign from BCCI You must be demand resignation form prim minster and other who are involve in scam Govt of India Ex. Railway, spectrum, coil, sugar, rice, petroleum, Deference, black money etc.. because we are once again go to slavers of china, italy
Bhansal was involved in railway scam, he did'nt resign immediately. Mr Srinivasan is an Industrylist and he is born rich. He doesnt needs cheap money, when he gets a decent income from India cements. Every human being born in this world has to mingle with strangers and meiyappan was one such victim who got into trap of vinod (who was a wrong person). and every thing happened through TRUST. I think mumbai police should focus more on Mumbais internal problem rather than IPL. Mumbai is infested with local corruptions, child stealing, local marathi goondas.
