IPL Betting/Cricket fever
by mohammed ck on May 25, 2013 11:04 AM

A country with 120 crore populationn does'nt have any place in Olympics where as many other small and poor countries win many gold/silver/bronze medals frequently. This cricket fever already spoiled the image of the country, do these cricket gods pay 1005 tax, do they bother to respect the laws of the country. Guys, these are just stories and people will forget very soon all these stories. Let us think about some good to get recovered from this Cricket Malaria.

THIS IS HOW THEY ARE CHAMPIONS
by SRIDHAR RAGHUNATHARAO on May 25, 2013 09:41 AM  | Hide replies

About two years back, Lalit Modi made direct accusition that CSK matches are being fixed by BCCI president. About a few weeks back, International Federation for Cricket directly blamed BCCI president for his black mailing tactics to appoint L Shivaramakrishnan to the Governing Council and referred case to ICC ethics committee for investigation. Now, BCCI president's son in law is caught for directly involving in betting. Lalit Modi is very right. This is how CSK never loses and become Champions. Any interest left for tomorrow's IPL Final?

True. The best case is in IPL-5 when 4 teams lost from winning positions to let CSK enter the knockouts.

Who cares. Go ahead and arrest all the culprits irrespective of their teams. But then please don't come in defence of CSK just because u are a fan of CSK.

You can not prove CSK innocent simply by stating that others too are guilty.

If this had happened with some other team, then they would have been banned by now by BCCI.

Well said. Banning may impossible as indians name it as religion. Truely promote FOOTBALL, HOCKEY, VOLLEYBALL, TENNIS, BADMINTON, BASKET BALL, GYMNASTICS, SWIMMING, CYCLING, BOXING, & OTHER OLYMPIC GAMES.

Cricket learnt to fix games from soccer. More than half European soccer games are fixed. American football, Basket ball games are fixed. Boxing is fixed.. What other games will you promote? You can bet they will be fixed not too soon in the future!

Meiyapan was the principal of CSK at the time of his involvement in the betting scam and when caught remove him from the post and CSK is safe. What is the logic behind this?? Declare MI as the winner of IPL season 6.
