DHONI, THE BEST FINISHER IN WORLD CRICKET? RUBBISH
by subrata banerjee on May 21, 2013 02:22 PM  | Hide replies

People with knowledge in cricket will laugh with such childish comment. Dhoni, the HELICOPTER SHOT MASTER,shall never be able to perform on a real good wicket with good amount of pace, hight and turn, provided the game is conventional cricket match like Test. Evrn in one day matches his performance will be doubtful. On abraod his performance will be miserable.
So long wicket keeping is concerned I hope he does not posses the prilimilary knowledge of the correct stance of a wicketkeeper. who know how many easy catches, stampings dhoni missed during test matches and one dayers. dhoni is by far the worst wicket keeper batsman in the world. Do we remember Rodney Marsh of Australia, Gilcrist of Australia, Allan knot of England, Wasim bari of pakistan, finally our great indian wicket keeper batsman like Farook enginner who use to keep against the all time best spinners of the world, which would have become a nightmair for Dhoni, had he been asked to keep them.
As a captain, he is worst possible because of his lack of knowledge in cricket.
So, Rediff should stop pampering such statement with IPL cricket which has been langushing with SPOT FIXING. I am definite that many more players will come into the SPOT FIXING NET.

I really agree with U. he is one of the worlds 3rd class batsman and wicketkeeper.Bcoz of some of worlds best bastsman and bowler who are happened to be in Indian team ,the team snatched away the world cup and all.Alone he is nothing.Just see his past performance ,lost in all 8 test matches ,he performed nothing,as a captain(kooled hyped by media)he is useless. So he should be any team, not even india team, but alias as long as our selectors are there he is....

Where is Pollard's 66*? I guess that was the second best inning after David Miller...

spot on. While the author has pulled up a good list, pollard's 66 definitely comes in top 5

Yup! I agree! That innings deserved to be in this list! Also Shikar Dhawans 70 odd Vs Mumbai in Hyderabad against the likes of Malinga and Mitchell Johnson!
