What Steyn says is correct to some extent. In India we rely too much on spin and when we go abroad on bouncy and fast tracks, our bowlers are exposed horribly.A fast bowler must have a wiry body like Steyn has and even though he is not big like the former WI fast bowlers,he is the quickest.India's MRF Foundation seems to be doing a good job and today we see a small frame body person like Bhuvanesh Kumar bowling very well.A fast bowler must also be able to turn and ball and reverse swing like Waqar and Wasim.
well, south africa already started mind game with indian player ahead of India's planned tour.. May be styne is trying to ensure that Ishant does not have good faith in his caption or team.. But i am sure Dhoni will do enough to motive our fast bowlers in South africa where they are needed most. Ishant ignore this guy, just learn good things from his bowling and ignore his mind games

I guess he just said what Kapil Dev had fought for years back.. the scenario has not changed as much...In India sporting tracks are the only ones favorable to fast bowling.. No fast bowler is ever provided with a green top or a hard bounce cause it would mean our paper tigers crumbling miserably and not making tonnes of runs and loads of money for BCCI with the crowd footfalls at the stadia..

Two glaring illustrations to prove Dale Steyn's argument correct...two talents presently just a shadow of their initial zeal and gusto.. and also speed.. Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan..
Team South Africa won Test series in India by capturing 80% of Indian superstar batsmen with quality pace attack only...y not Indian pace bowlers do d same on same pitches...?
