Big issues with Sreesanth?

He is just another TYPICAL INDIAN! Making a fast buck like everyone else- the REVENUE clerk at the land registration office, the railway TC, the traffic constable, the sales tax official, the shopkeeper cheating taxes, the boys' fathers demanding dowry, the shopkeeper faking his invoices, the engineering/medical colleges taking DONATIONS or CAPITATION FEES, the sensational journalists blackmailing businessmen, or the protectors abusing women or the autorickshaw guy or cab driver fixing his meter..!!! a

Since you are a Rediff user, I will explain it in Rediff terms. Look at the top of the website. You see categories News, Businesss, Movies, Sports, Get Ahead. Right? Whatever you have listed falls under "Business". Sreesanth's antics falls under "Sports". We don't want to see 420 practices by a sportsperson. Period.

Great....but you are perfectly ok seeing your politicians generals police business men and bureaucrats loot crores. That is fine. But sportsmen...no that you can not tolerate. Any wonder then that India is a third world dump....with this mentality.

So according to you is this kind of behavior acceptable from a person on the "Politics" menu item. Just kidding.

Match fixing is completely different from spot fixing. As these small contributors to the match might not change the game in a given day, even if they put 200% of effort themself, for these guys it is only possible to do spot fixing and you need to see 'capable' people to do match fixing.
For ex, if a batsman scores and make a team wins in the final over, he can be a match fixer, or a capable bowler, or a determining captain of a team to bowl the death over can be match fixer not these small time bowlers. It might sounds familiar but i did not pointing to anyone, if it sounds like i can not help.

Tip of the Iceberg.
by sunpan on May 21, 2013 10:29 PM

Sreesanth and the other relatively 'unknown' players are just the tip of the iceberg and they know the others and sreesanth can confidently say the 'others' will pull him out, if he is convicted, he can point others involved too. All these days are cricket tamashas and fooling around the public interested in a good sport and only sport for Bharat(not india!).

Well, he is one among many been caught, but not proven to be guilty yet, So beating him would simply stop the more truth come out from him and that is not a solution for anyone committed a crime. Let him talk more and come out clean if there are options left out. In Indian judicial system anything is possible if the convicted is capable of showing proof that he is not involved. Now it is important for sreesanth to move/play close to other possible bigwigs, so that he could escape the ordeal.

can you vouch for other party politicians for their honesty? It is not a party or a group of people, which would be easy to correct or get away from corruptions, it is at all levels and mentality of people too, when people change then only it is possible to get a way out of corruption. Ok, how many time you voted for some one based on actual issues than superficial issues.
