The best way to ban IPL
by bijayakrishna sinhari on May 21, 2013 07:38 PM

The only way IPL can be banned is if the TRP falls. Let's unite against a form of cricket which you cannot even enjoy with the whole family. Cheerleaders, match-fixing, fowl-mouthing, corruption, everything that we don't want has vandalised this beautiful game. Let's boycott all IPL matches henceforth and let's bring the TRP down. No advertisements and there will be no IPL.

will play for the final...
It must be a great match between two best sides of this season because of some excellent players like Sachin, Malinga, Pollard, Dhoni, Raina, Hussey, Brevo etc.

Court's Decision
by kumar kn on May 21, 2013 03:56 PM  | Hide replies

The Supreme Court is right in not banning IPL.You don't cut off your head for having a headache.Out of the approx 150 players with the various teams, a few have turned out to be bad apples. The BCCI and IPL Governing Council should also be held responsible for its lax control and administration. The anti corruption wing of BCCI is useless and the head should be punished.BCCI should be made accountable and should be forced by the govt to come under RTI.The rot is much deeper and inspite of IPL being a big tamasha it is popular worldwide and a great opportunity for youngsters to show their talent.

you are right, because each & every cricketer knows the darker side of Indian Paisa League still they are playing in this league, this only shows their greediness. they are earning so much money from other sources still they are playing in corrupt IPL, something is grossly wrong. these cricketers have no time to collect national award (padma vibhusan) & they have the time to play in corrupt league & even have time to dance on tunes of pepsi & lays, what does this proves?
