YOu don't justify one offense by quoting others. All need to be brought to book. Change is coming.

This is called sensationalization - by media and by police. There is a saying in one of the Indian languages - before a powerful person is killed/terminated/finished, his respect/image needs to be tarnished. Delhi police did exactly that by continuous publication of all kinds of updates about Sreesanth and others. The DP wants publicity for themselves and at the same time they want no one to come for the rescue of these so called tainted players. The DP's mission is very successful as they released even information about psuedo-xyz-girls hanging out with Sreesanth even though this piece of information has nothing to do with spot-fixing. This is called "hitting below the belt". My final opinion, the police force needs urgent rehauling.

Based on my experience of dealing with police I could say that the police would eventually have an egg in their face. These policemen are closer to thugs than intelligent government officials. They do not have any idea of law and they do not care for truth and justice. All they want is some few minutes of false glory and yielding to some kind of pressure and coming up with a scapegoat. They abuse/torture the suspects like the tainted players in every possible way to hide their incapabilities as anyway they wouldn't get the indictment.

They can shame the less powerful who even served their country in some capacity. Look at Sree's contribution and compare with the thugs and politicians who goe scot free. I don't know which law gives a right to defame and pass the kind of half-truths before stablishing in the court of law. How can Delhi police get involved in this case. Don't they need the federal authority to take control.
