match fixing
by Jomesh George on May 20, 2013 05:33 PM

Batsmen having more chances of fixing matches than bowlers. For eg a batsman can easily play out a maiden but even if they try bowlers may not give away runs particularly if u bowl to an out of form batsman.

RCB-CSK-MI ?
by damodaran mohan on May 19, 2013 01:35 PM

So RCB manages to stay afloat thanks to Virat Kohli's not just the brilliant innings but also his 'Nayi Soach' of opening the innings. Has it come too late in the day because RCB could still miss the bus if SRH beats KKR to-day ? If only VK had been little more imaginative in selecting his playing XI and in his other tactical moves in the earlier matches RCB wouldn't have been in this helpless position . In the rain curtailed match of just 8 overs perhaps it was not difficult to decide on his playing XI but the fact remains VK is yet not sure of playing XI especially his bowling combination. So in spite of looking the stronger side after winning the shortened format a full 20 overs match is going to be altogether different proposition given profligacy of RCB bowlers throughout although RCB’s chances look quite good. Coming to other two contenders , namely MI and CSK , compared to other sides CSK’s distinct advantage is Dhoni’s captaincy and his finishing skills which makes up for the side’s other deficiencies. MI on the other hand though have the best bowling attack but their batting has not been consistent and the side crumbles too often under pressure as seen in the last match against Punjab and even in many earlier matches also. In case RCB makes it to the playoffs the best chances of winning IPL-6 in the descending order has to be RCB,CSK and MI.

rcb vs csk

it is okay to satisfy the crowd and entertain them. But,friends is an 8 over game a side really cricket. It would have been better if they had kept a super over or distributed the points between when rain interrupted.let us not make a mockery of the game in the name of entertainment, leave alone tainting it.

It was obvious that the match was fixed.........Why no investigating into that.......... See how the CSK bowlers were giving away runs and .............. and how the CSK batters were batting.......... Vijay was not even attempting shots ........ soemthing fishy..... ordinary viewers like me felt cheated.............

You say this because you are a Madrasi? Haven't you seen the match? How both the teams were batting? Do you think, CSK must always win? Didn't you see MIs lost to inferior teams? If you dont know Cricket, go & watch Kabaddi.

He is not writing this since he is Madrasi, every body knows this IPL is the biggest Hawala rocket used to convert black money & being controlled by Dee Ganng through Pawwar.
More over the North Indians not Madrasi's are only Indulged/Involved in Match fixing including Dhoni,Shewag etc.

If you know that all matches are fixed then why blame kannadigas alone, as if all CSK players are washed in milk. CSK players are equally accountable as RCB. Come on yaar

IF RCB has fixed this match then what CSK players were doing. Are they not to blame for selling themselves for money (if at all it has to be believed that match was fixed. First blame your own team before preaching others. besides if RCB wins them match is fixed if chennai wins then it is their hard earned money. Do you have any account of how many matches did CSK win by fixing earlier matches to get 20 points.
