The family of S. Sreesanth, who was arrested along with two fellow teammates of Rajasthan Royals on spot-fixing charges in the Indian Premier League, has decided to seek the services of a senior Supreme Court advocate to represent the cricketer.

A Delhi-based Malayali lawyer, Deepak Prakash appeared for the speedster when he was produced in the Saket court in the national capital soon after his arrest in Mumbai on Thursday. Sources close to Sreesanth, who are in Delhi to secure his release on bail, said the family was not at all impressed with the lawyer who was never really appointed to argue the cricketer’s case.
