Avoid playing&promoting circket, air real success in sports

Not a single developed nation (barring Eng/Aus) is playing cricket or promoting it. In these developed nations cricket is currently dead among the younger generation. In fact, cricket today is virtually confined within the Indian sub-continent. If by some miracle, major nations like the USA, China, Germany, France, Japan etc. start playing cricket, India will disappear from the world cricket map in no time (just recall what happened to hockey). Friends, let us all stop watching this mockery of a game called cricket and focus on real sports like athletics, aquatics, football etc. from now on. Let us all aim for REAL success in sports, e.g. in the Olympic Games where major world nations compete, and not be satisfied with fake success when we beat absolute non-entities like Bangladesh or Sri Lanka in cricket.

Kipil Sibal's statement makes one laugh. He should first bring a law to avoid all Scams and Corruption by the ruling party.Remember his "Zero Loss" theory? Even if the CAG's figures are wrong, the CBI controlled by the Congress party itself has put the loss at Rs 30,000 cr in 2G. A party mired in massive corruption has no right to talk about corruption in IPL which itself is one big tamasha.

the indian political scene is and was filled with lawyers for around 150 years. making laws laddu for them! so also support breakers. it is double whammy! income from both! it!is there are laws to prevent any type of corruption, influence pedalling, misuse of power to favour one's own relatives & friends, interference judicial/administrative process etc. etc. what is missing or lacking is attitude to comply and respect them!

but unfortunately the situation is different! it does not favour such honest dealings!

if a political leader is uncorrupt, not willing to favour overthrowing the due process, doesnot support his followers even in case of criminal acts, he is considered as soft and lose his traditional supporters.

case of reddy bros ,yeddu and BJP in Karnataka!

Why the Politicians are keeping quiet ?
by hariharan iyer on May 19, 2013 11:15 PM

When there is an opposition on some thing such as increase in price, etc., the political parties jump the band wagaon and call for Bandh. How come till date no policitical parties such as Shiv Sena, MNS, BJP, Congress, etc have come out openly and banned the cricket. It is very obivious, ALL the politicians are involved in the cricket scam.
