As the scripted so called competition and regional fights between states are in full swing, I cant help but feel sad that the semi-pacers or specialist spinners BCCI has, are either wicketless for most of the matches or have been patented for the "highest runs given" category.

yes. Ishant is quite a customer for India..... only if he keeps it going though and does not become yet another trodder or Indian pace bowler. except Kapil, we haven't had any world beater till now.
