I wish good luck to the gentleman Rahul Dravid; the greatest ambassador for the sporting fraternity, such a polite, humble & down-to-earth person.

CAPTAIN DRAVID BEATS CAPTAIN COOL TACTICALLY
by damodaran mohan on May 13, 2013 12:50 PM

Is RR on the brink of replicating IPL-1 magic of winning the trophy for the 2nd time? There is very fair chance of that happening the way RR had been going about giant killing with ease. It was a comprehensive victory over the table topper CSK whom RR came close to beating at Chennai with Watson playing the decisive innings. Not just that with all eight wins at home RR have beaten every IPL team which clearly goes to prove that the side has the potential to lift the trophy. It is a question of playing well the one or two matches in the KO stages. For one, the team is gelling well as a unit with Dravid leading from the front not just with the bat but also exhibiting leadership qualities of motivating youngsters. Strategically too his decisions whether on the playing XI,batting order, even bowling changes and field placements look simply immaculate so much so even the captain cool Dhoni seemed to have lost out to him yesterday. Ironically Dhoni was holding back his ace bowler Ashwin for Watson and that proved to be his undoing !On the other hand Dravid’s tactics of delaying his star batters from early seaming wicket seemed to have paid off! In fact every match Dravid’s tactical decisions seem to be paying off! With little bit of luck don’t be surprised if Dravid emulates Shane Warne’s feat

RR team itself is a humble and hard working team. Hats down to the team effort. Dravid was chased out od RCB calling him test player. Mr. Mallaya will be boiling himself inside for losing him.
