India will finish last in the Group with this team. The batting line up lacks experience.

y hegde
yuvi a national player
by y hegde on May 04, 2013 07:29 PM

Yuvi has always played well only in national team and that too in bigger tournaments(20-20 world cup, world cup, champions trophy). He has never played to his potential in ipl ever. He level of motivation and commitment goes up while playing international tournaments unlike Rohit sharma, who is better only in ipl. I agree gambir's axing but not Yuvi as he was always useful with bowling and batting cameos..

Rushwat Pawar
Chennai Trophy
by Rushwat Pawar on May 04, 2013 05:57 PM

It is a team of Chennai Cements trophy and the selection reflects it. Form is a mere excuse to drop players that did not 'Cement' themselves with the current powers. Heck, when the Pawar brigade ruled, even B grade players became selectors and selected players from their personal academy over others. And when Daalmila ke cement was powerful, one had to be subservient to dadagiri to be considered. Wah re dhonbi

Shameless Dhoni Politics
by anand bhatia on May 04, 2013 05:10 PM  | Hide replies

Bhiras are best in politics, now I know otherwise I can't understand how one person who single handedly won final for us (gambhir 98) and other responsible for all round performance and main player who won us two world cups can be dropped. This shameless creature is playing politics in IPL also by arm twisting pitches, rival captains for his own objectives. Dhoni shame on you and your father Mr. N Srinivasan once your days end no body will care for you
