He was one of the most accomplished defensive player in recent past.He learned the art of cutting down risky shots in early part of the inning & had an insatiable desire to bat.These two habits made him Mr reliable though at times boring to watch.He is a team person & moved out of international arena no sooner his reflexes slowed down with his head high unlike another one who is bending backward & forward to stay in team at all cost without performing
His commitment towards the game is awesome. The more criticised, the stronger was his response. A true team man who played for team goals than for his personal records.

He was a solid as Manjrekar or a Boycott. He also had verstaile strokes if needed. He gave 150% to the game and the country.
As usual this man is a simple bloke liked him the best in his era of cricketers,never the boisterous types lets his batting do the talking Salute you the cricketer you are Mr Dravid....
