Rajasthan royals will play 3 days consecutively on 20th, 21st & 22nd april. Also CSK & RR will play twice on 21st & 22nd once in chandigarh & Chennai. Rediff is hopelesss
Next hopeful after CSK as always have to be the MI with plenty of further off-field strategic reinforcements. However it is the execution by the playing XI which has been the problem for the side all along which ultimately is going to make all the difference. Questions ? How many games Bhajji plays ? Can Rohit Sharma deliver this time around when it is needed most ? Can Keiron Pollard be made to give his best beyond his fielding prowess ? KKR could look plain bored with their routine rattles and fielding glitches. Besides some players’ availability problem it remains to be seen if Sunil Narain recreates his magic and if Yusuf Pathan can manage to connect his shots ? But KKR is sure to finish in the top half.DD, there is nothing much to write home about and are likely to finish in the bottom half for sure. Regarding RCB nobody knows how many of them are getting paid even ? So difficult to talk about their chances once we are not sure about their motivation level ! RCB could be the fourth side provided Vijaya Mallaya has cleared all their dues ! Rest of the pack of course are the also ran crowd unless KXIP come up with some upset wins which they are capable of.

After the high decibel song and dance it is finally the much awaited cricketing action time. While IPL-5 marked the High of some of the closest ever last over or even last ball thrilling finishes it remains to be seen leave aside the heightened frenzies, if the current version can even sustain the killer controversies and achieve a successful conclusion ? Coming to just cricket , how do the teams measure up against each other ? One thing that strikes like a thunder is the presence of a much stronger looking CSK as never before. Nearly half a dozen India caps in top form making up the side makes it so formidable that it should be the biggest upset of IPL-6 if it fails to lift the trophy for the 3rd time. However given the uncertainities of T20 format may be rest of the sides could be counting on Dhoni ‘s dangerous gambling instinct that would give them some glimmer of chance.Their best chance could be to exploit the chink in the ‘pace’ armour of CSK at the start and at death overs. Even otherwise CSK are slow starters and tend to lose initial matches especially against MI.
HOW MUCH POWER IS CONSUMED IN IPL NIGHT MATCHES WHEN MOST OF THE STATES CRY OF POWER SHORTAGES OR RATHER ACCUTE POWER SHORTAGES. WE R VERY MUCH FOND OF CRICKET STILL IT APPEALS OUR COMMON SENSE WHERE PEOPLE FACE HUGE POWER CUTS IN SUMMER AND IPL MATCHES ORGANISED IN THE EVENING UNDER LIGHTS... IT WOULD BE INTERESTING IF SOMEONE CAN PROVIDE THE STATISTICS RELEVANT TO THE SUBJECT.
