a future best average batsman

Here is a future better batsman. Will achieve what even Tendulkar has not achieved. The best overall batting average.... Tendulkar will stay greatest but Pujara will have better average overall. Only time will tell.

Pujara has established himself well.Dhawan has done well in the debut test.Rahane missed the opportunity in his debut Test.Tendulkar doesn't retire till next Test series.Dhoni is good in judging people.Raina is waiting in the wings. Our bowling is weak.To win matches you need to take 20 wickets. It is more challenging to win in SA,Austalia and England.

The way the current ODI openers are playing, you can definitely put him there and see how he performs.

Pujara
by Marathi Indian on Mar 27, 2013 04:26 PM

There are many players who can play in one dayers but there are very few who can really play in test cricket and Pujara is one of them. We need to save him for test cricket. He is a injury prone player and already lost some of his career due to injury. Exposing him to the fast mode of cricket will affect his form and he may get some injuries. He can play in IPL as it is circus where the result of tournament is decided before start of tournament
