All games are fixed!!!
by Tiger Bastion on Mar 26, 2013 02:39 AM

Its time we indians stopped watching any cricket and turn our attention to other games. Thats the only way we can kill this disease of corruption and match fixing!!!

ravindra jadeja very under-rated bowler.

ravindra jadeja very under-rated bowler.
a surprise package of ravindra jadeja although selected as batting allrounder, he performed brilliantly as bowler n scored crucial 43 in first inning. such a good bowling performance by jadeja that although considered as a fifth bowler in team, he excelled to become 2nd ranked bowler getting 24 wkts in 4 matches. that also having killer instinct of getting rival capt mostly.
jadeja is definitely a talented but under-rated bowler. he needs to score with the bat. has scored 2 tripple in domestic ckt. even if he takes 50% of success to intnl level, it vl b best for ind.

This is the same Jadeja whom BCCI kept out of the national side for a year and also denied him any place in the IPL not very long ago. He is an aberration who won his place despite all odds. But wait, if he slips just a little he will be shunted out at the first available opportunity. unceremoniusly

It's a Brownwash, not White one
by Pat Thakur on Mar 24, 2013 11:31 PM

It's happy to see India achieve a clean win. Last time there was foul criticism when Dhoni had reprimanded the Cricket Authorities and asked them to concentrate on building spinning pitches. But it was a very apt statement.

We should concentrate on ONLY winning (as other countries do) and that begins with making spinning pitches as your main weapon. At the same time, we should also put equal concentration on developing pace as India is totally weak in that department (bowling with pace or facing pace bowling.)

It is because of this weakness that we always tend to lose in away series on fast pitches and get Whitewashed.

pujara batting was terrific
by vinay on Mar 24, 2013 07:18 PM  | Hide replies

target of 150 plus wasnt easy on this devil track. yet all the credit of run chase goes to pujara who remained cool n finished the job with 82 remaining unbeaten till the end. if not for him, the procession wud hv started n ind wud hv been bundled out in second inning.

sachin
by solid singh on Mar 24, 2013 06:47 PM  | Hide replies

sachin is the greatest player on earth. in delhi he was victim of bad umpiring . If DRS was available , he would have scored tons in both the innings. After all he is the best batsman on earth. He would have hit lyon , like dhoni did , or like dhawan who hit all of them.

brilliant performance by youngsters.
by vinay on Mar 24, 2013 06:11 PM  | Hide replies

brilliant performance by youngsters.
first of all congrats to ind team (n not merely dhoni) for incredible 4-0 victory.

team performed execptionally did well against all the hopes after losing it 2-1 to eng.
youngsters deserve the praise.
in the first test, dhoni came strong scoring double n took ind ahead.
in second, it was pujara doing brilliant double.
pujara performed exceptionally well in 4th also, in such a devil pitch, to guide ind to victory by remaining unbeaten.
in 3rd, it was dhawan whirlwind 187 easing out the first day washout. murli also had good support scoring 2 150 plus scores.

n the 4th one, a surprise one. ravindra jadeja who nwas called sir by many of his detractors. although being selected as batting allrounder, he performed brilliantly as bowler n scored crucial 43 in first inning.
such a good bowling performance by jadeja that although considered as a fifth bowler in ranking, he jumped to 2nd ranked bowler getting 24 wkts in the 4 matches. that also having killer instinct of having rival capt mostly.
bhuvi also performed in patches.
overall wonderful job. well done.

If paki umpire aleem dar and lankan umpire dhramsena had NOT played for the british team, India and dhoni would have beatn England 3-1 or 2-1 surely! Shame BCCI brought the usless paki umpire again for the matches against aussies and if the brit umpire was not there, India wouyld have lost the last two matches too! shame BCCI invites uselsss and anti-indian umpires for our matches,Any way Boring &Poverty producing Tests and Ranji cricket must be Banned in interest of preventing wastiage of billions of working hours and to revent india becoing poorer and poorer in future too! shame patriots have not agitated even now to Ban Tests NOW, prevent wastage of billions of working hours! shame BCCI&crooked rulers!

Sachin is Bheeshma of Indian team
by akshay k on Mar 24, 2013 06:08 PM

Like Bheeshma, Sachin has seen generations of players come and go while he continues playing. Also he has 'Ichcha Mrityu' ie he will retire only when he wants.
