Should Rahane be allowed to play for India
by Raja on Mar 25, 2013 04:15 PM

Dhoni, Vijay, Dhawan and Pujara made individual contribution with the bat and for which India was able to maintain the lead in batting. That does happen with Rahane.

Rahane not for opening
by srinivas ramachandran on Mar 24, 2013 03:35 PM

Rahane does not want to open , bcos ,if he knows that already Vijay and Dhawan are going to in the slot.In case he fails ,he will not get the middle order slot as well.He might have requested for the middle order as he was taken for that purpose !

this is myth.. changing batting order
by soco on Mar 24, 2013 12:10 PM

when had rahane represented india as opener?

shuffling order in most of the time is good
and if india could heed they can shuffle the top order with tailenders .. because sometime the pitch playing well and sometime not .. how could aussies tailender add 100 runs and others falling apart it will good if india shuffle it players and when conditions are bad send the tailenders and pitch is behaving somewat good they cann send top order... IF INDIA IS GOOD to take THIS ADVISE.

Lessons from the England Series
by v s on Mar 24, 2013 10:07 AM  | Hide replies

WE lost the england Series because of bad batting. Somehow in Aus series, that got fixed primarily because of Vijay, Dhawan, Pujara opening stands. Rest of the batting is as brittle as it was against England. Need to bring Rayudu , Manoj Tiwary ASAP

as long as dadaji remains a plaster , india will find itself in such situations.it is a different thing that india is rescused by muralis , pujaras , dhawans , dhonis & jadejas of the world. he needs to be chucked out immediately.

Rahane got hit by old ball.He would have done better as opener?
by adi piran on Mar 24, 2013 01:57 AM

That is crazy. If Rahane wants to fit, he better find ways to fill in the spot. Getting hit by fast bowler is not any proof of technique anyway
