You are absolutely right Dada, Though the other SG, Sunil Gavaskar had difference of opinion on whether this is the weakest Aussie side visiting India, but he also agrees that this is the most inexperienced side... easy to beat... lolzzzz.

that is why we were also whitewashed in their soil. so who is the weakest? atleast when they are here, they dont have the experience. but when we toured them, we still had lots of experience in the form of viru, sachin and laxman but still whitewashed!!!!

You are right. He wants to down play Dhoni's success as Dhoni has become more successful than him. Ganguly's statement was uncalled for and against Indian team's performance.

India Team don't be so much excited !
by Ajubabu on Mar 21, 2013 10:02 AM  | Hide replies

India Team don't be so much excited ! You will be tested in Foreign soil very soon, then only skill of Dhawan / Pujara will be known. Here Dhoni & Co. performed in tailor-made wickets by pressure from Captain. We should acknowledge England Team who has even given their best in Indian soil b4 this series, Shame on Dhoni & his spinners who has not even allout the Englad Team once.

This has become a fashion to down rate Indian players to challenge them to score on foreign soil. People forget how Indian players like Sachin, Dravid, Laxman, Virat Kohli performed in the past. They should not forget that because they could not succeed on Indian pitches no foreign player was considered weak. Let us respect capabilities of our own players. Without giving chances to play on foreign soil we should not comment on one's capacity.

Good joke!

Putting it in perspective, this team at least has a bunch of youngsters that will gain valuable experience out of this tour. Compare this to the team of old stars that visited the shores of England and Australia and lost 0-4. The next time around, when the younger ones go there, we will see a similar result again, as compared to this Australian team.

M/ARTHUR &CO. CAN HOPE FOR THE REVIVAL IN THE A/SERIES ?
by damodaran mohan on Mar 20, 2013 05:19 PM  | Hide replies

It is really unbelievable and have to pinch ourselves to accept that India is up 3-0 against Aus and most likely to make it 4-0 at Delhi! So, trying to undermine this achievement is not fair because the young Indian side led by Dhoni has played well to deserve the wins. The Aus side is not exactly weak because they had the same bowling attack against India and SA played in Aus.yes, on the batting side there is inexperience of the youngsters coupled to absence of Ponting and Hussey. Sunny is right the Aus side is more of an inexperienced side rather than a weak side.Given this background what was needed was professional guidance and confidence building after the 2-0 drubbing. Unfortunately they got instead ‘homework’ and disciplinary ‘stick’. However to the credit of M/s Clarke & co in the end the way the bowlers came back on the 4th and 5th day it was good to see the usual Aus grit and fighting spirit that had gone missing. Any way a good performance alone in the Ashes series can reverse fortunes of the coach and CA. Coming to India although team batting seems to be getting into the groove but Dhoni needs to be more reassuring and confidence instilling. On the bowling front Ishant is still a question mark and that is why Shami Ahmd should be tried out , U/ Yadav brought back etc. On the spinners front Ashwin has to be little more consistent especially on good batting wickets. It is not clear what else he has to do further ? Only exper
